24 Interviews: Sex, Relationships, and Dating

Last year, I had the pleasure and privilege, to interview 24 people about their relationships, dating, and sex lives. The specifics of those conversations are completely confidential. I do want to share common themes, wants, and desires that came out of those conversations.

Often times, we can feel alone in our experiences, struggles, and pain. Our experiences, at their essence, are often times more relatable than we may think. I know, personally, knowing or hearing from someone that they’ve experienced something similar to me (or are still in the thick of it) has eased my anxiety and pain. I felt heard, understood, and human. You are not alone.

I will be sharing these common themes in separate blog posts. Please note, if you don’t see your top concern in the list (there will be eight), don’t worry! Although 24 people is a good sample, it’s very small considering that there are billions of people on earth! Also, if you see your concerns in multiple posts, and you start to get concerned, please don’t fret. Some of them are closely related and are common desires.
